All our new colourful spring & summer yarns are in the store, along with a great selection of patterns & books. Knitting is so popular the selection has never been better. We have many samples for the yarns knit up as well.

"To Speak" follows Ratana, a 12 year old Cambodian girl living in an impoverished village, as she dreams of building a new home and future for her family.

Wool-Tyme Lessons & Seminars with Chriss

Continental Knitting
Have you ever watched in fascination someone knitting as they hold their yarn in the left hand? Are you left-handed and struggling to knit in a right-handed world? Want to find an easier way to knit with more than one colour? Then this class is for you. You'll learn the basics of Continental Knitting also known as "Picking". Techniques covered will include: the Continental Cast-on, knit stitch, purl stitch, Norwegian purl stitch, increasing and decreasing. Note: This class is suitable for those who have never knit before.

Fee: $30.00

Project Linus
We love seeing the beautiful blankets you make for the kids at CHEO. Please remember to drop off your donations of yarn and blankets here at Wool-Tyme - the museum does not have the space to store these items. Volunteers meet the second and fourth Thursday of every month from 1 - 3 p.m at the Nepean Museum, 16 Rowley Ave, Ottawa. Thank you to everyone who has donated yarn, or made blankets or quilts. .
